LeRoy Yates, M.D., FACOG, FACPh
Dr. LeRoy Yates, M.D., FACOG, FACPh is a minister's son and native Chicagoan, dual specialty board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Phlebology (venous diseases). He is married to Dr. Michelle Yates M.D., ABIM, ABEM dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, also a Chicagoan. Drs. LeRoy and Michelle Yates have three children.
Dr. LeRoy Yates earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Illinois Chicago, a Medical Degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill., and completed his OB/Gyn Residency at the University of Illinois Affiliate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is licensed to practice medicine in Iowa and Illinois.
Dr. Yates has practiced cosmetic dermatology and vein surgery since the mid 1990's. He developed Diamond Medical Spa and Vein out of his passion for his subspecialty interests which include endovenous laser therapy (EVLT), ultrasound guided sclerotherapy treatment of venous disorders, hysteroscopic sterilization, endometrial cryoablation, liposculpting, non-invasive body contouring, breast enhancement, Pulsed Light/Laser therapy, cosmetic dermatology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery as well as general OB/GYN.
He also is the owner of Vascular Technologies, a medical device design company dedicated to developing innovative medical solutions that improve patient outcomes, reduce surgical complications and costs. Dr. Yates developed a unique surgical instrument, "QuickHyst" and enjoys multiple domestic trademarks, design and utility patents with international patents issued and pending. "QuickHyst" proof of concept prototypes and intellectual property are trademarked "QuickHyst" for "Weekend Hysterectomy".
Dr. Yates is a member of numerous medical associations, serves on the board of directors for the International Institute Christian Studies, Circle Y Ranch Bible Camp and is the Medical Director for Crisis Pregnancy Resources Center and the Quad Cities Autism Center. Dr. Yates enjoys tennis, scuba, water sports, traveling and dreams of flying.
Michelle Yates, M.D.
Michelle Yates, M.D. attended University of Illinois in Urbana and earned a B.S. in biology. She then attended Loyola University Medical Center for both medical and an Internal Medicine residency. During medical school she and LeRoy married and had their first child, Lauren. She and LeRoy later added Jordan and Jasmine to their family. Michelle has been an emergency physician at Genesis Medical Center for the past 22 years. She views delivering healthcare in an excellent manner as an honor and a privilege.
Introducing - A.J. Cummings, M.D.
As a physician very focused on superb patient care, Dr. A.J. Cummings started his career by graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Oral Roberts University. In addition to excelling academically, he was an NCAA swimmer and worked as a nurse assistant. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and did specialty training at the University of Michigan affiliate, Henry Ford Hospital.
For over two decades Dr Cummings has repaired multiple complex lacerations, performed countless injections and performed thousands of medical and surgical procedures. He has dozens of scientific medical publications and presentations, including research in dermatology. He has continued learning and teaching and has refined his skills to offer aesthetic and regenerative medicine to his patients. Dr Cummings is board certified in both Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr Cummings continues to teach medical procedures at both the national and state level and is an active member of his community. He has served as the president for his county medical society and has been on the medical county board of directors for multiple years as well as serving as a Delegate to the Illinois State Medical Society for many years. He is the former medical director for Accelerate Christian Evangelism Team, former Director of Surgical Procedures Lab for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria Emergency Medicine Residency, and currently the Medical Adviser for the National Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction Foundation and Director of DaVinci Medical (www.DaVinciMed.com).
Dr Cummings is a member of his County Medical Society, the Illinois State Medical Society an the American Medical Association as well as being a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
